The “Heart of the City Speakers Series” presents inspiring and engaging events in which renowned guest speakers are invited to share and speak about a wide range of social, cultural and spiritual issues that are relevant to our surrounding community.

Past speakers have included: Terry Fallis — author of the award winning novel The Best Laid Plans; Sally Armstrong — a three-time Amnesty International award winner; former Toronto mayors John Sewell and David Miller; Senator and Master of Massey College, Hugh Segal; author Lawrence Hill; documentary filmmaker Alison Rose; and many more.

These events are usually followed by a reception, with wine and refreshments, to provide participants an opportunity to speak with the guests.
