Fall Seminar Series

Biblical Background(s): The Bible and the Ancient Near Eastern Context was the theme for a series of three lectures by Dr. John McLaughlin, Associate Professor of Old Testament / Hebrew Bible at the Faculty of Theology at the University of St. Michael’s College, University of Toronto. Dr. McLaughlin was a very engaging speaker and the series was very well received.

Sunday Forums are held after worship, usually on the last Sunday of the month. In 2015, these included: in February, David Kirk McLeary from St. Paul’s Bloor Street talking about their ESL program; in September, Noel Ramsey spoke on the Canadian Theological Student’s Conference and the theme of Human Rights; in October, Toshio Ushiroguchi-Pigott spoke on mental health and community, and in November, Rev.
