weddings

St. Andrew’s is a beautiful sanctuary in which to celebrate your wedding. While we do not require that couples who get married at St. Andrew’s be members of the congregation, we would strongly encourage all who are interested to join us for a morning worship service in order to have a chance to see the sanctuary and get a feeling for the atmosphere and reverence of our worship services.

As well, it is important to remember that a wedding is, at its very heart, a service of worship. Therefore, while there can be other elements introduced into the service to make it meaningful and personal for those involved, there will be readings from the Bible, prayers, and a tone of worshipful dignity in all weddings at St. Andrew’s. As well, we require that couples who are going to be married meet with one of the ministers at St. Andrew’s, and that they participate in premarital counselling seminars either through the congregation or through some other recognized process.

If you would like to find out about more about celebrating your wedding at St. Andrew’s, please contact the church office at 416-593-5600 or info@standrewstoronto.org
